Harmony Church and Healing Sanctuary is a registered place of worship for the Solemnisation of Marriage and the Principal Church of the International Church of Saint Paul.

Harmony Church and Healing Sanctuary in our grounds was completed in December 2005. It was consecrated on 18th February 2006 and is the headquarters of the International Church of Saint Paul of which Susan and Tony are Senior Principal Ministers. The church is Christian but non denominational, but we would perhaps describe it more accurately as a spiritual teaching and healing church.

Unlike some churches, we are delighted to welcome couples who have been married before.

Maximum capacity 60 people seated.

Anyone who wishes to marry at Harmony should contact the local Registration Office to make sure that a Registrar is available on the date required. The local office is at North Cliff House, 69 Burniston Road, Scarborough YO12 6PH and their telephone number is 0845 034 9486.

Cost of Solemnisation of Marriage preparation, rehearsal and ceremony from £150.

Cost of Renewal of Wedding Vows or Blessing After a Civil Wedding £95

Cost of personal flowers and musical accompaniment can be discussed and may cost extra.

Please note we are not a venue for Civil Partnerships or Civil Weddings but are happy to perform blessings following such ceremonies.

We have female and male ministers who are able to conduct baptisms, funerals, and other services, special occasions, anniversaries and blessings.

We are happy to go through one or two rehearsals for a couple's special day and on the day itself there is no rush in case another couple is waiting.

The time is yours!

We cannot offer catering, however the Scarborough Rugby Union Football Club just four minutes drive away has excellent facilities for wedding receptions and larger evening entertainments. Telephone number: 01723 357740. Functions: Extension 3.

We can accommodate outside caterers if a wedding party would like to have light refreshments outside whilst photographs are being taken. We have some gazebos for this purpose.

Funerals: Please contact us as this varies depending on requirements.

Our wonderful views, including the sea and Scarborough Castle and the landscaped gardens will make a fantastic backdrop to your photographs.

At other times our church is used for our free of charge, weekly Wednesday healing sessions (3pm to 5pm) but this does not conflict with the running of the guest house. Harmony is also the Head Office of The International Church and Healing Fellowship. We do not wish to convert anyone by pushing our beliefs, but are always happy to discuss matters if anyone is interested.

The Harmony grounds are a continual work in progress as every year wherever possible, further areas are landscaped and planted up to make the grounds as peaceful and attractive as possible.
