RETREATS

Many people simply want to come to Harmony for a short break or holiday whilst other guests come for rest and relaxation and to leave the stress of modern life behind for a while. For those seeking bed and breakfast with a difference, we feel we can offer a peaceful retreat. We have the services of a couple of complementary therapists, who with adequate notice, can possibly come and offer various treatments.

The work that Susan and Tony carry out at the church does not conflict with the running of the guest house. The beliefs of their Church (The International Church and Healing Fellowship) are that everyone has freewill to choose and decide their own pathway in life. We do not wish to convert anyone by pushing our beliefs, but are always happy to discuss matters if required.

Harmony Church and Healing Sanctuary in our grounds was completed in December 2005. It was consecrated on 18th February 2006 and is the headquarters of the International Church of Saint Paul of which Susan and Tony are Senior Principal Ministers. The church is non denominational, but we would perhaps describe it more accurately as a spiritual teaching and healing church.

We offer healing free of charge every Wednesday evening 7pm to 8:30pm and also Thursday afternoons 3pm to 5:30pm. We can call upon a team of 14 registered healers if required, most of whom originally came as patients. We never say we can offer a cure, as the human body is both complex in itself and also subject to environmental and personal influences, but we can certainly help and no healing is ever wasted.

For those who are interested we generally have spiritual development groups on the healing days, but please check on details nearer the time.

If you require a special anniversary or occasion blessed during your stay we will be happy to discuss your requirements. The church is a registered place of worship for the Solemnization of Marriage and we can also conduct baptism, funeral, and other services and blessings. We do not do catering for these ceremonies.

We have a social dance evening for the 'young at heart', on Tuesdays at 8.00pm to 10:30pm. It is a private club, but new visitors are always made very welcome. A full variety of music is played and there is always something for everyone.
